TADDY BLAZUSIAK EXCITED FOR ABESTONE HARD ENDURO.
GASGAS FACTORY RACING’S POLISH ACE IS FULLY FOCUSED ON FIM HARD ENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RESTART.
It’s back to work for our FIM Hard Enduro World Championship star Taddy Blazusiak! More than ready to restart his 2021 hard enduro season, our Polish ace will finally get back to racing this coming weekend as he takes on the all-new Abestone Hard Enduro in Italy. Joined by factory-supported rider Michael Walkner, Taddy is focused on securing the best possible result he can.
We’re excited to be heading back into some serious hard enduro action and the much-awaited restart of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. With round one heavily restricted, and round two cancelled completely, all riders come into the Abestone Hard Enduro with zero championship points on the board.
Leading the charge for GASGAS Factory Racing, Taddy Blazusiak is no stranger to new challenges. The experienced multi-time FIM SuperEnduro World Champion will be riding our 2-stroke EC 300 as he takes on what promises to be an ultra-tough three-day event, held in the Tuscan mountains. Facing a timed extreme test on Friday evening, Taddy will then face two full days of racing with Saturday made up of intense special tests. Sunday will deliver a three-hour, 20km Super Final.
Feeling fit, and hungry for a new hard enduro challenge, Taddy is looking forward to taking on this new event.
Taddy Blazusiak:“I’m excited that we’re going racing again. It’s been the longest off-season for me ever, I think. I had a good warm-up at the EnduroGP of Italy, and it gave me a full weekend of racing to test my shoulder. Now, I’m really looking forward to starting our thing – the Hard Enduro World Championship. I’m feeling good, everything seems to be working well. The bike is absolutely awesome! The race in Italy looks like it going to be a tough one, but I can’t wait to get started.”
Joining Taddy in Italy, Michael Walkner will be looking to make his mark on the hard enduro scene. Also riding our ultra-capable EC 300, the young Austrian will use the event to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible over the three days, while also challenging for the podium places as he sets his sights on becoming one of hard enduro’s leading riders.
