Liam Everts extends multi-year deal with Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing.

The Belgian talent commits his future to Husqvarna Factory Racing, building on a strong debut season aboard the FC250 in 2025.

Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing is pleased to announce that Liam Everts has signed a new multi-year agreement to remain with Husqvarna Motorcycles in the FIM Motocross World Championship.

Since joining the Nestaan Husqvarna squad at the start of the 2025 season, Everts has quickly established himself as a consistent front-runner in MX2. The 21-year-old Belgian has already delivered standout performances, including a commanding Grand Prix victory in Spain’s Castilla La Mancha, multiple podium finishes, and several gritty rides that underlined both his speed and resilience.

Everts’ debut term with Husqvarna has not been without adversity. A heavy crash mid-season forced him onto the sidelines, yet his determination and work ethic shone through on his return, where he immediately raced back inside the top ten. That trademark perseverance has become a hallmark of his approach, ensuring he remains a formidable presence in the MX2 paddock.

Over a relatively short career so far, Liam has already forged his own identity as one of the brightest prospects in Grand Prix motocross. His smooth style, race intelligence, and ability to perform under pressure have impressed both the team and fans alike, making his long-term commitment to Husqvarna Factory Racing an exciting step in the brand’s future ambitions.

With this contract extension, Husqvarna strengthens its line-up for the seasons ahead – pairing Liam Everts with Kay de Wolf to continue challenging for Grand Prix honours while also laying the groundwork for future progression.

#26 – Liam Everts:
“I’m really happy to extend, and to stay with Husqvarna and the Nestaan Team. They took me in with open arms, and I feel at home with them; so I didn’t want to leave! We have a really strong group of people working all together – and we want to aim for the pinnacle… and that’s to win. I’m super happy to stay and continue my journey with the team, and build something great!”

Rasmus Jorgensen – Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Team Manager
“Liam extending with the factory and committing to our team structure is a great testament to all the work we have achieved together this season. When Liam joined our team, he was facing one of the biggest challenges of his career, but he approached it with focus and professionalism and quickly found his way back. His commitment and hard work not only brought him back to a high level earlier than expected, but also allowed him to lead the championship for the first time in his career earlier this season. We are very proud of his progress, and together with the factory we are excited to keep building a strong foundation to ultimately achieve Liam’s and the team’s shared goals for the future. Let’s go Liamski!”
