THE CZECH REPUBLIC PRESIDENT PETR PAVEL VISITED THE MXGP OF CZECH REPUBLIC IN LOKET.
The twelfth round of the 2023 FIM Motocross World Championship, held at the famous old-school circuit of Loket, has already offered the public amazing battles, challenges and a great show for the MXGP of Czech Republic. It is easy to understand that this has become a regular stop on the MXGP calendar with the motocross passion encountered and the enthusiasm of thousands of fans.
Adding to this special event, the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel gifted the MXGP with a private visit and arrived at the circuit of Loket on his motorbike among a convoy of motorbikes. On arrival the president and his delegation met with Infront Moto Racing CEO David Luongo along with the organizers of the Grand Prix. David Luongo gifted Mr. Pavel the racing jerseys of the current leader of the MXGP Championship Jorge Prado and Jeremy Seewer which kickstarted the visit in a friendly atmosphere.
The visit then continued with David Luongo inviting the delegation to the Skybox where the Czech Presidential delegation got on quads to ride there. The President was welcomed by FIM/CMS Director Antonio Alia Portela, President Autoclub of the Czech Republic Jan Stovicek, President of Autoclub Loket and Clerk of the course Zdeněk Dvořák and other FIM Officials. All the authorities watched the start of the MXE and then took part in official photos with local riders. Mr Pavel also received a special Racing Jersey in the colours of the Czech Republic signed by every Czech rider.
President Petr Pavel took the time to pose with the MXGP Academy that was present in Loket which was an incredible honour and a very unique encounter for local young motocross riders and he had the time to meet the multi-time Motocross World Champions Harry and Stefan Everts. This Presidential visit shows the support from the government for this outstanding event and highlights the strong cooperation among Infront Moto Racing, the Local Organizers, the Autoclub of the Czech Republic and the Government to make the MXGP of Czech Republic an exceptional event.
