CESAR LAGUT CROWNED 2025 JUNIOR E-MOTOCROSS SERIES CHAMPION AT THRILLING FINAL WEEKEND IN LOKET.
Rounds four and five of the 2025 Junior e-Motocross Series delivered a dramatic conclusion to this year’s series, as France’s Cesar Lagut emerged as the overall series winner by just one point following a weekend of intense racing at the MXGP of Czech Republic in Loket.
Heading into the final double-header, Great Britain’s Austin Senior held the red plate after victories at rounds one and three. With the championship title on the line, the young talents of the Junior e-Motocross Series rose to the occasion on one of the most iconic tracks on the MXGP calendar.
The weekend began with a timed practice session on Saturday morning, where Spain’s Rodrigo Angel posted the fastest lap aboard his Husqvarna EE 5. Austria’s Raphael Edlinger and France’s Cesar Lagut, both riding GASGAS MC-E 5 machines, rounded out the top three.
Race one, saw Raphael Edlinger master his way around the old-school Loket circuit after a strong start, with the Austrian holding onto the lead until the chequered flag, followed closely by Lagut in second and Angel in third.
Ahead of race two, heavy rainfall engulfed the circuit, creating incredibly difficult conditions for the youngsters. After a meeting between the Junior e-Motocross team and Infront Moto Racing, a decision was made to cancel the second run. This meant the results from the opening race counted for the overall, that saw Edlinger as the overall round four winner ahead of Lagut and Angel.
