2024 MONSTER ENERGY FIM MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS PROVISIONAL ENTRY LIST!
The anticipation is building for the 2024 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, set to unfold at the iconic Matterley Basin circuit on 4th, 5th and 6th October.
Following the last MXoN in Matterley Basin in 2017 where Team France won it in front of The Netherlands and Team GB, this year promises to be another spectacular weekend wiht the best riders of the planet setting foot on one of the riders‘ favourite track.
With the Chamberlain Trophy on the line, this year’s competition promises to be one of the most thrilling and tight in recent memory. Last year’s champions, Team France, who triumphed at home over Australia and Italy in 2023, are back with the same lineup featuring Romain Febvre, Maxime Renaux and Tom Vialle. The French team will aim to retain their crown but thei will face many storng teams capable of winning it all.
Team Australia, lifted by their second-place finish last year, returns with the formidable Lawrence brothers, Hunter and Jett, alongside Kyle Webster. Meanwhile, Team Netherlands brings a powerhouse trio with Jeffrey Herlings, Kay de Wolf and Glenn Coldenhoff, all ready to challenge for the title. Team USA, the record holders for most MXoN wins, features Chase Sexton, Chance Hymas and Aaron Plessinger, all determined to claim victory on European soil.
Adding to the excitement, Team GB will be racing on home soil with Conrad Mewse, Max Anstie and Tommy Searle, all looking to secure a podium finish in front of the passionate local crowd. Team Belgium will show up with rising stars Lucas and Sacha Coenen and Jago Geerts who replaced Liam Everts after his injury sustained in China, while Team Germany boasts a powerful lineup led by Ken Roczen, the standout performer from last year’s event, alongside Simon Laengenfelder and Max Nagl. Team Italy with Mattia Guadagnini, Andrea Adamo and Andrea Bonacorsi, and Team Spain, featuring 2023 MXGP World Champion Jorge Prado, Ruben Fernandez and Oriol Oliver are also set to compete fiercely.
With teams from five continents, the 2024 MXoN is sure to be an extraordinary spectacle, filled with passion, national pride, and the unique camaraderie that defines this remarkable event.
