MXGP Paddock Fired-up for MXGP of Spain After Visit from Officials.
The MXGP of Spain is set for race action after the official track and paddock tour featuring the representatives from Communidad de Madrid, Sport Ministry and Mayor of Arroyomolinos.
This will be the third time that the circuit of Intu-Xanadù – Arroyomolinos will host the FIM Motocross World Championship after two very successful events in 2020 and 2021, with last year’s huge crowd attendance that created an incredible atmosphere in the grand-stands around the venue.
The special event was attended Infront Moto Racing CEO David Luongo, FIM/CMS Director Antonio Alia Portela, RFME President Manuel Casado, Madrid Federation President Manuel Rodríguez, Arroyomolinos Mayor Ana Millán, Vice Councillor of Sports of the Community of Madrid Alberto Tomé, Councillor of Justice of the Community of Madrid Enrique López, General Director of Security and Civil Protection Luis Miguel Torres, Manager of intu Xanadú, Alexis Martín de la Peña and the Spanish GP Organizer and General Manager of Last Lap Diego Muñoz.
The attendees toured parts of the hardpack circuit and the MXGP Paddock. Red Bull GasGas Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado, Honda 114 Motorsports’ Rubén Fernández as well as RFME WMX riders Daniela Guillén and Gabriela Seisdedos were present for the tour and gave the officials more details on the circuit that will host the 9th round of the FIM Motocross World Championship, along with rounds of the WMX, MXE and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing.
